GMG Finance Apprenticeship

We have an exciting opportunity for a paid apprenticeship within our GMG Finance team, where you will be able to gain valuable work experience in a global FMCG company on top of a Level 7 qualification.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an apprentice to join our GMG Finance team, based in London/Folkestone (hybrid working available) on a 36 month contract commencing in Spring/Summer 2022. Working with all areas of the business.  You will receive up to £24,000 per annum and the training will be paid for too!

The Qualification

Over the 36-month contract you will gain Level 7 Accounting and Taxation Professional Qualification.

It includes developing:

Your Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours in all areas of Accounting plus building relationships, business insight, communication, ethics & integrity, problem solving, continuous improvement and professional scepticism.

Who we are looking for:

Our ideal candidate will be articulate, able to work on their own initiative, numerate and have experience with data/spreadsheets.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a degree/experience in business and finance or accounting and finance
  • Be a strategic thinker with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Have excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Have the ability to influence non-financial members of staff.
  • Have excellent attention to detail with the ability to deliver to deadlines.
  • Be competent in MS Office and advanced in MS Excel.
  • Have strong organisational skills and ability to manage/deliver projects.
  • value teamwork, diversity, and integrity.

In the UK we employ over 370 people who undertake a range of roles from Research & Development & Marketing through to Purchasing, Production and Supply Chain. These teams are supported by departments such as Finance & Human Resources.
