If the answer is yes - then look no further as Church & Dwight UK Ltd have an exciting opportunity for a European SAP Team Lead based at our office in Folkestone, Kent.
The European SAP Team Lead is responsible for leading a team of SAP Business Analysts to ensure the delivery of solutions that enable the business areas to meets its goals and deliver the maximum business value. The role holder will be the trusted advisor to the business on SAP needs and will develop and activate the European business IT strategy in terms of SAP. There will be a focus on cross-functional working, ensuring the varying needs of different departments are managed carefully.
As a critical role in the European IT team, the role will work with a range of stakeholders, and have the opportunity to participate in both European and Global projects.
Key responsibilities include:
The Now: Work closely with process owners and key users to understand business requirements and drive the analysis and design of quality solutions.
The Future: Undertake complex process analysis, design and proposal creation, which includes technical process problem solving in relation to the current, as well as the future business environment.
Relationship Management: build and manage relationships with business partners to manage expectations and ensure customer satisfaction / understanding.
Getting Team and business ready for SAP S/4 HANA migration.
Assisting in system integration, performance and user acceptance testing and be well acquainted with SDLC process, Agile methodology and SAP guidelines and standards for enhancements and configuration.
Coach and manage the team on day-to-day performance.
Assist in security / authorisation setup, user documentation, data interface design, data migration and reconciliation for the SAP modules.
Responsible for developing and training team members, setting goals and monitoring goal progress.
Identify opportunities for adding advanced analytics to support long term business goals.
Work closely with European Master Data Team and Analytics teams to Maintain confidence in the data as a single source of truth by ensuring data are up to date, reliable, consistent and coherent.
Partner with European Business Analysis team to develop BI solutions for sharing within the European business.
The ideal candidate will have extensive SAP knowledge with experience of project implementation and providing guidance and support. They will also have:
Experience managing 3rd party support partners
Good knowledge of SOX Compliance / Audits / Validated Systems maintenance
Hold ITIL certification or experience of working within an ITIL environment
Strong analytical skills and a process driven approach to problem solving (exposure to Lean 6 Sigma)
Collaborative skills and the ability to work well within a team
Excellent communication skills: engaging, confident and able to adapt to stakeholder requirements
Project Management Skills, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), DevOps, Price
Good presentation skills
The ability to prioritise, problem solve and communicate solutions
French fluency is desirable
This role will be based approximately 50% in the office and 50% working from home, it will require the ability to travel to our European partners in France and Germany.
