Job Overview and Responsibilities:

Church & Dwight’s International sales and marketing team conducts business in over 130 countries and represents one of the fastest growing business units within Church & Dwight.  The International Brand Manager, OTC Marketing role will be responsible for managing a portfolio of Church & Dwight OTC and Oral Care brands, marketed to consumers and professional healthcare providers.  The individual will contribute to the development of global OTC brand strategies, working to identify and accelerate global new product launch opportunities and for overseeing elements of global brand equity on selected brands. The Brand Manager will accomplish these objectives through close partnership with the Church & Dwight U.S. domestic marketing team, our subsidiary marketers around the world and with our Export sales team.

Key brands that will fall under the Brand Manager’s responsibility include Sterimar, Anusol, Gravol, and the Arm & Hammer oral care portfolio.    

Primary responsibilities of the International Brand Manager will include the following:


  • Support OTC Group Brand Manager in the development and execution of OTC growth strategies that include brand growth plans, new market launches, competitive defense plans and white space / M&A evaluation.
  • Act as a liaison between our U.S. domestic and our subsidiary marketing teams to represent International needs and assess impact of U.S. domestic and/ or subsidiary initiatives on the total international business.
  • Responsible for global analysis of syndicated sales and market share data and making associated business recommendations and analyzing competitive trends.

New Product / Claim Pipeline Development:

  • Partner with subsidiary marketers and Global New Product & Innovation team to identify global new product / claim needs.
  • Help support key project execution for local markets including new product launches, geographic expansions, line extensions, packaging redesign and consumer promotions.
  • Track / report on global new product roll-out and performance vs. planned goals.

Equity Stewardship:

  • Develop global brand guidelines, review / comment on creative briefs and review brand copy (advertising & packaging) to ensure global consistency of all OTC brands.
  • Create professional detail aids in compelling new formats that can be leveraged globally.
  • Work alongside cross-functional partners, including R&D, Trademark and Regulatory, to ensure products are eligible for sale within countries of interest. 

Education / Experience / Requirements:

College graduate required. MBA preferred. Must be self-motivated and able to work under tight deadlines both independently and as part of a team.

5-7 years of marketing experience required. Ideal candidate will have both classic CPG / FMCG marketing experience and OTC / healthcare professional marketing experience.

Specific experience working with international markets and constituents strongly preferred.  

Must have excellent English oral and written communications skills.  Additional language proficiency (French, Spanish, and Mandarin) preferred, but not a job requirement.

The job will be based at Church & Dwight corporate headquarters in Ewing, New Jersey and will operate under a Hybrid work schedule that will provide work from home and in-office flexibility. Fully remote working conditions will be considered based on the candidate’s proximity to the office. The role will require occasional (~15%) international travel.
