If the answer is yes - then look no further. Church & Dwight UK Ltd have a permanent role for a European Head of Regulatory Affairs to oversee the regulatory strategy for Europe and ensure compliance for distribution, maintenance, R&D and marketing of our global brand portfolio.
The European Head of Regulatory Affairs will be responsible for regulatory aspects within the UK, France and Germany and serve as a business partner to ensure adherence of best practice, legislation and compliance with our Church & Dwight Global strategies and policies. The role holder will be responsible for liaising with consumers and internal customers and internally managing a large team across the European Regulatory Affairs team.
Other responsibilities include:
Lead in providing oversight and direction to the pharmaceutical and medical device regulatory affairs programmes and processes.
Provide input into the EU regulatory strategy including the development of pharmaceutical and medical device products in the EU.
Knowledge and experience in the practical application of the medical device and pharmaceutical regulatory requirements/regulations.
Assess and implement changes to remain compliant to EU medical device and pharmaceutical regulations.
Support export Toiletry, Medical Device, and Pharma registrations globally.
Direct the development of the document systems/procedures to assemble relevant medical device technical files, pharmaceutical common technical dossiers and annual reports to competent authorities.
Manage all common technical dossiers initiated out of the UK for the EU
Awareness of legislation impacting the manufacturing of European C&D products.
Advising the business on Regulatory and Quality regulations in a succinct manner in alignment with Quality Management and making business leaders aware of impending regulations, highlighting risks, and providing guidance and recommendations for implementation of best practice.
The cross functional nature of our organisation means that the European Head of Regulatory will need to build excellent relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure products meet the regulatory requirements for our markets, demonstrable leadership skills with strong results orientation and business focus and ability to manage multiple projects, work cross-functionally and deliver against company business goals and objectives.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience within a regulatory role in a similar industry and working knowledge of EU and UK post-Brexit legislation. They will have working knowledge and understanding of the regulations used within consumer product, food supplement, household product, medical device and pharmaceutical industries including: MDR, IVDR, MDSAP ,OTC, EU Reg 1223, working knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO 22716, ISO 13485, ISO 9001) and voluntary standards.
