Church & Dwight UK Ltd have a permanent role for a Senior Regulatory Affairs Specialist to oversee the regulatory strategy for assigned corporate projects as well as assist in the creation, development and implementation of global regulatory affairs procedures.
The Senior Regulatory Affairs Specialist will be responsible for interpretation and application of all relevant regulations, guidelines and UK Legislations and managing rapport and interaction with Health Authorities. The role holder will be responsible for providing senior regulatory support to product development teams throughout the design control process, including the analysis of applicable standards, guidance on risk assessment and effective implementation of the regulatory plans.
Other responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the company’s regulatory compliance status.
- Hosting and supporting Technical File external regulatory audits or inspections of C&D UK Ltd.
- Product release responsibility for the third party finished good inspection program.
- Act as the UK regulatory contact for medical device products where C&D US is the legal manufacturer.
- Act as the legal manufacturer first point of contact for the notified body of A&H Sensitive Pro Repair toothpaste medical device
- Dealing with day to day contacts from the notified body, trading standards organizations and UK health authority.
- Providing UK/EU regulatory guidance to C&D US regarding the potential introduction of their products into UK market.
- Independently manage multiple projects, department initiatives, and day-to-day tasks.
The cross functional nature of our organisation means that the Senior Regulatory Affairs Specialist will need to build excellent relationships with internal stakeholders including R&D and Marketing to ensure products meet the regulatory requirements for our markets.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience within a regulatory role in a similar industry and working knowledge of EU and UK post-Brexit legislation. They will have working knowledge of the regulations used within consumer product, food supplement, household product, medical device and pharmaceutical industries (ISO 22716/ISO 13485/EU GMP). Finally, due to the nature of the role, excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
