Are you experienced in product formulation within Personal Care brands? Do you have a degree in science or a related field?
If the answer is yes - then look no further. Church & Dwight UK Ltd have an exciting opportunity for a Development Chemist to join our R&D team based in Folkestone, Kent on a 12 month fixed term contract.
This role within the R&D team will be part of the development and formulation of products within our Personal Care portfolio, focusing on oral care products. Duties will include initiating new product ideas based on consumers’ needs and insights, preparation of laboratory and stability samples.
You will also work closely with internal stakeholders such as Marketing and Production to support the development of the new product from feasibility to launch. This will include preparing and presenting findings and data to internal and external audiences.
The ideal candidate will have experience of product formulation, whether from a previous role or internship, ideally within personal care or a similar category. You will have a degree in science or a related field and practical laboratory experience gained from industry. Communication skills are key for this role so you will have excellent verbal and written communication, able to work closely with colleagues at all levels. Finally, you will have excellent IT skills, particularly proficient with Microsoft Office products and be able to present data clearly and concisely.
