If the answer is yes - then look no further as Church & Dwight UK Ltd have an exciting opportunity for a Shopper Marketing Manager based at our office in Euston, London.

The Shopper Marketing Manager is responsible for shaping the Shopper Marketing plan across our customer base and brands and developing an annual customer marketing plan which brings our brands to life in store. The core focus is to manage the execution, implementation and budget of our instore and online shopper marketing plans. As a critical role within our Category Management team, they work closely with internal stakeholders in our Marketing, Sales, Category teams as well as key Point of Sale suppliers, to activate our brand plans across all our retail customers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing the Trade/Shopper Marketing Calendar supporting the sales team and leveraging all opportunities within grocery accounts. Embedding shopper activation as part of the annual business planning process.

  • Developing account specific brand plans to include promotional plans and product launches, as well as jointly working on point-of-purchase (POP) plans along with the Brand & category Management teams.

  • To be the point of contact for specified accounts on all Shopper Marketing matters and the key implementer of initiatives in those accounts.

  • To ensure all plans are actionable, fit the overall commercial and brand strategies

  • Executing an insight driven and efficiency focused approach to Shopper Activation. Leveraging insight to drive maximum shopper opportunities to see, shopper engagement, conversion to sales and return on investment.

  • Understanding shoppers across formats (main store, convenience and on-line) to ensure relevant and tailored execution.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Shopper/Trade Marketeer with a passion for shopper marketing from a branded FMCG organisation. They will:

  • Have demonstrable commercial acumen.

  • Have a proven track record of building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Be structured and well organised with a strong attention to detail.

  • Have the ability to deliver activity with accuracy and pace.

  • Be positive and ’can do’ attitude

  • Be highly numerate & analytical, used to/comfortable working with data of high granularity

  • Have solid experience using Nielsen and Kantar data

  • Very good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel – used to working with spreadsheets.

  • Have strong Microsoft Power Point presentation skills
