Job Description

The Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for managing the SKU lifecycle process and is accountable for meeting Global SKU efficiency performance targets. This role will interact with C&D Warehouses, Marketing, Sales, MDM, Finance, Customer Logistics and Supply Chain. The primary goals for this role are:

  • Achieving SKU Efficiency Performance Targets
  • Delivering to Remnant and Slow Moving Material Inventory Targets
  • SKU Lifecycle Process Responsibilities:
  • Manage the lifecycle of a SKU, from approval through discontinuation and obsolescence.
  • Manage the SKU Rationalization Process
    • Lead monthly SKU approval meeting.
      • Assuring that all forms are submitted correctly & create meeting agenda
      • Approving/Rejecting forms.
      • Post meeting notes and perform follow ups.
      • Complete SKU approval work flow by assigning SKU numbers in forms.
  • Manage inventory disposition for discontinued and slow moving/remnant SKUs.
  • Submit service tickets to complete SKU obsolescence and resolve issues preventing status updates.
  • Publish & analyze monthly SKU Efficiency Report for US Consumer Domestic, Canada, Mexico & Export businesses.
  • Coordinate and host monthly SKU Efficiency meetings with SBU Marketing groups.
  • Publish and analyze SBU Quintile Report to drive performance improvement
  • Coordinate and host quarterly Quintile meeting with SBU Marketing groups
  • Coordinate and publish year end SKU targets
  • Slow Moving and Remnant Responsibilities:
  • Manages monthly publication of the Remnant/Slow Moving Report
  • Aligns with the Supply Chain group to determine end of life items
  • Responsible for publishing Weekly Deletion List from the SKU Approval meeting, Quintile Report, and associated e-mail.
  • Coordinate and host monthly Slow Moving/Remnant calls with International subsidiaries

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Logistics or Transportation
  • 2 – 4 years of experience in a Logistics or Transportation environment
  • SKU Rationalization experience preferred
  • An understanding of Logistics Systems, Transportation Systems and SAP experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite of products, including Microsoft Access
  • Candidate must possess the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Operations / Supply Chain functional areas
  • Strong analytical skills, interpersonal skills, and communication skills, both oral and written.
