SUMMARY:

We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Work Order Controller at our Vancouver, WA plant in our Manufacturing department. This position conducts activities to review, release, and reconcile work orders from SAP into Swisslog and monitors work order material transactions.

This position is currently available on our 3rd shift, which works Friday through Sunday and every other Thursday from 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

The base pay for this position is $15.60 plus a $0.50 shift differential.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), company policies, safety policies and practices, quality standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Conducting assigned work in a safe manner and adheres to all company safety regulations and policies.
  • Duplicating work order from SAP into Swisslog.
  • Reviewing component availability to process work order.
  • Updating work orders status and feeding information to shift supervisor and others as needed.
  • Coordinating activities with warehouse personnel to ensure timely execution of work orders.
  • Monitoring work order transactions performed by production and manufacturing personnel, identifying issues, and correcting inaccuracies.
  • Issuing some work order components.
  • Providing guidance to personnel regarding corrective actions for incorrect material transactions.
  • Reconciling completed work orders.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma, GED, and/or equivalent combination of experience and education that could likely provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform the job.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Ability to sort, check, count, and verify numbers.
  • Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork.
  • Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects.
  • Ability to receive, track, and distribute materials, supplies, and equipment.
  • Proficient with WMS and SAP.
  • Ability to detect problems and report information to appropriate personnel.
  • Ability to use PC.
  • Knowledge of light equipment operation and/or maintenance.
  • Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.
  • Ability to maintain punctuality and predictable attendance.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment and clean room attire.
  • Moderate physical activity, requires standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day and up to twelve (12) hours per shift.
  • Must be able to lift and carry items weighing 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to perform work onsite and be comfortable in a light industrial environment, including some exposure to non-toxic dust.
