We are recruiting for a Production Technician within our Production Department. The role will involve working across all of our FMCG production lines at our site in Folkestone, Kent.
The Production Technician is responsible for disassembling and cleaning standard change parts from our high-speed production lines. This includes keeping the area to 5s standard and other ad hoc duties required to support our production line teams run effectively and efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:
- Safe operation and disassembly of manufacturing line equipment
- Demonstrate the operation of a safe operating environment including chemical usage in cleaning and preparing for micro testing.
- Safely operate T20 MHE
- Participate in Continuous Improvement.
You will be required to work a shift pattern of 40 hours week from Monday to Friday (Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm. Friday 8am to 4.30pm).
You must be an enthusiastic team player who can demonstrate excellent problem solving skills and display a positive attitude to learning and adapting to change. You must hold the right to work in the UK.
Education and Experience required:
- Previous experience of working within FMCG manufacturing environment
- A good standard of verbal and written English
- Basic understanding of Mathematics and working with computers
- Previous experience of using SAP would be an advantage
